Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform

The Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform is an advanced propulsion system designed for commercial marine vessels and superyachts. Building on the proven Volvo Penta Inboard Performance System (IPS) and Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) technology, this platform offers unique enhancements for larger vessels, such as improved manueverability and high power. As the evolution of Volvo Penta’s fully integrated helm-to-propeller experience, the Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform is designed to provide flexibility with support for up to eight power sources. It also includes integrated intelligent software, services, and support, all powered by Volvo Penta’s proprietary EVC technology.

N-O-S I-Class crew transfer vessels

The I-Class vessels feature an innovative hull design and a specially engineered U-shaped high-performance fender from N-O-S. This has been designed to specifically enhance maneuverability and improve the vessel's safety features, enabling smoother bollard pushes and crew transfers. The I-Class is designed to prioritize crew comfort, aiming to provide a "home away from home" experience. Powered by the advanced Volvo Penta IPS Professional Platform, the vessels are built to adapt to evolving energy solutions, and aim to provide long-term efficiency and reliability.
