Northern Offshore Services
An elevated system, at work
The M/V Traveller gets a whole new lease of life. A key Northern Offshore Services vessel, the Traveller has been repowered with four Volvo Penta IPS 900 Q2 props and a new control system. Individually steerable drives have been linked to the onboard joystick, facilitating docking maneuvers. The Volvo Penta IPS also contributes to a comfortable environment for the crew.

Repowering facilitates Marine Commercial Control (MCC) for seamless integration with existing ship control systems and enables access to our Electronic Vessel Control system (EVC). EVC offers control over both marine engine and propulsion and can be upgraded with various options. For genset engines, the MCC monitoring system and Open CAN solutions are available.
