Technology
A great match for wakeboarding and tubing. Tow Mode automatically accelerates to your pre-set engine speed and compensates for changes in load. When you give full throttle, the engine reaches its peak acceleration but won’t go exceed a pre-set rpm. With changes in load, such as when the waterskier turns sharply, the system quickly compensates to maintain the set rpm. And adjusting the speed is simple with buttons on your display or side-mounted control.
The desired power trim angle is dialled in through the Water Sport Control in the Glass Cockpit display or by the button on the side-mounted control handle. Control the surf side easily with the Water Sport Control and switch sides quickly while surfing to try new tricks.
Not getting in the water? Enjoy even smoother cruising on board. The optional Powertrim Assistant maintains a perfectly trimmed drive, to keep you on plane and riding comfortably. The system automatically adjusts your boat’s motor trim to the optimal running attitude, resulting in even better acceleration and comfort.
Designed to work seamlessly with Volvo Penta Forward Drive, Glass Cockpit and our ballast systems, Water Sport Control is an integrated part of a complete helm-to-prop solution. The system adds speed, ballast, trim, and surf side to engine data, navigation charts and Garmin accessories in the Glass Cockpit – giving you a clean, easy-to-use dashboard display. You also benefit from audio control and camera view.
