Volvo Penta IPS propeller features

Genune Volvo Penta Propellers
Precise balancing gives minimal vibrations, quiet and comfortable operation. It is also essential for efficiency and minimizes wear on the drivetrain.
Optimal interaction between the front and rear propeller ensures maximum performance and fuel efficiency throughout the entire speed range, as well as smooth and comfortable running.
Extremely strong and specially developed nibral (nickel-bronze-aluminum) alloy ensures minimum growth, excellent durability and corrosion resistance.
Fully CNC machining ensures exact tolerances and perfect geometry of each propeller, which results in total precision and outstanding performance.
Patented Flow deflector at the rear propeller controls the water flow and minimizes pressure and wear on the propeller shaft seals.
Optimized torque distribution between front and rear propellers ensures that the drive works with the load it is designed for - essential in preserving the life of the drivetrain.

Type T/TS – nibral propellers

Type T propellers are designed with a tough nibral alloy that stays corrosion-free and has a unique flow deflector for minimal wear on propeller shaft seals. Type TS propellers have the same properties, but are more suitable for for heavy-duty applications.

IPS 15

Type N/NS – nibral propellers

Type N propellers have been crafted with a specialized nibral alloy, which is highly durable and resistant to corrosion and features a patented flow deflector for seal protection. Type NS propellers have the same features, but have been designed for heavy-duty applications.

IPS 2 and IPS 20

Type P/PS – nibral propellers

Type P propellers are equipped with an extra strong nibral alloy construction featuring long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance, plus a patented flow deflector for minimal seal wear. Type PS propellers are similar, but are more suitable for heavy-duty applications.

Type Q/QS – nibral propellers

Featuring a custom nibral alloy and a patented flow deflector, this propeller is incredibly durable, resistant to corrosion, and offers excellent protection for your propeller shaft seals. Available for both standard and heavy-duty applications.
