Belle Chasse Marine Transport is the largest launch service on the Lower Mississippi. When it was time to repower one of their older crew boats, they decided to install a pair of Volvo Penta D13 400 diesel engines. Based on their great experience, they’ve repowered four more boats with the D13 400s. And the plan is to repower over 40 boats with Volvo Penta diesels over the next few years.
