Enabling integration with most Volvo Penta accessories, and equipped with intelligent automation and data collection capabilities, EVC simplifies boating operations, letting you to focus on the journey.

EVC serves as the intelligent brain of your boat, seamlessly integrating with various systems to enable a wide range of accessories and features. Much like the central system in a smart home, EVC provides you with smooth and efficient control.

Imagine the possibilities

EVC editions range from A–E4 and 2.0 for future features. Upgrading to E4 via our upgrading kit allows the installation of new features and accessories such as Assisted Docking, Glass Cockpit, and the Interceptor System. Upgrading to 2.0, the latest EVC, can only be done through a repower.

Upgrade your EVC edition

To upgrade your EVC, contact a certified Volvo Penta dealer. They will help you choose appropriate accessories, set up a timeline, manage the installation, and provide training on how to use your new setup. When upgrading through a dealer, you receive a 2-year warranty on both labor and parts.

If you currently have an earlier EVC edition than EVC-E4, we offer the opportunity to elevate your boat at a cost significantly less than the original price. Please reach out to your closest dealer for more details.
