Telematics

Active monitoring

1. The onboard telematics device detects the fault and sends an alert to the Volvo Penta System.
2. A recommendation is sent to the appointed Volvo Penta or OEM dealer.
3. Dealer contacts customer, secures parts when needed, and acts on the recommendation.
4. Dealer submits feedback on recommendations and reports on action taken and when.
5. Feedback from dealers is analyzed by our Uptime Service team.
6. Result of recommendation registered. Models and recommendations are refined if needed.
