Powerful technology for tough work. Our auxiliary solutions feature robust engine blocks manufactured from high-strength castings, with components optimized to withstand tough marine conditions. As with all Volvo Penta engines, you access the full power output immediately, regardless of load.
Choose from a selection of interface options to suit your vessel. The MCC electronic platform is a powerful interface for managing multiple installations and efficient load sharing. Alternatively, an open CAN Interface delivers the engine without a control system. Further options – with or without shutdown senders and switches – are available.
Our auxiliary solutions are available with a wide range of cooling options – heat exchanger, keel, radiator or central cooling.
Thanks to our Volvo Penta common engine platform – tested and well proven in a wide range of Volvo Group and marine applications world-wide – our auxiliary engine range benefits from shared parts and service points, cutting lead times.
